These are a few times that don't quite make it to the events section on their own merit, but they are representative of good times in my life
One summer, a bunch of us band nerds agreed that it would be pretty sweet to go to Drum Corps International. There was one in late July in Broken Arrow, OK that was only a couple hours drive, so we picked that one, and set off in Amy and Tisha's mother's car.
Megan's grandparents lived pretty close, so we stayed the night with them before going back. We ended up having an awesome amount of fun and went again the next year, but forgot to in 2007 xD
This is outside the OK tourist center on the OK/AR border on I-40. it was a mobile home at the time because of renovations!
We saw this sign and I had the idea for us to pose next to it as though we were pets and could not go past it.
Megan didn't quite get the sultry implication ;)
Amy kinda did! I wonder what happened to the picture of tish? It's probably laying around somewhere.
The first time I was able to attend my school's Colors Day (basketball homecoming) was my senior year (every year before that it always came on the same day as all-region clinics), and my cousin Carrie got crowned Queen!
The queen on her throne~
Hannah and Megan love each other.
She was writing a college app essay at the time!
The summer after 9th grade, our school counselor asked if I wanted to go to space camp with something I had signed up for the year before, Educational Talent Searc. I am very glad I went. Ever since then my interest in space and spacetravel have been massive repiqued (the original piquing occurred around the time the Armageddon movie came out 8))
This is Clint. Oh man I developed a huge crush on him! Clint, if you see this, e-mail me so I can stop being so creepy!
We were divided into groups based on last names and named after planets. We were team mercury! Behind us is the pathfinder shuttle. I am the dorky looking one. Also, they gave us free t-shirts, but th eonly sizes they had were larges and extra-larges! how lame!
Megan and I became friends with a new student in eleventh grade. This was pretty much the only time I ever went to her house; we were all exchanging christmas presents. At the time we were kind of like a triumvirate, but of course silent dramas followed, and then again also. However, this day was very nice and brought about some interesting photos, so~
Stu thinks I look hot in Megan's glasses.
Megan crowned herself Pope.
