The sad thing about being an Engineering student is that you have limited time to devote to art, so I think my improvement in the subject has more or less plateaued.
The happy thing about growing older is that I can use observation more skillfully to improve when I lack the time to do it by hours of practice! A happy coincidence I assure you.
Anyways, my art centers around the human (figures and faces) and the whimsical (in kindergarten I drew a creature called 'Miss Foot', a pedagogical beast if ever I saw one). Obviously when I found myself in advanced placement art, I chose the vague notion of 'people' as my concentration and was justly rewarded for picking such a commonplace and ignoble thought. Because of course you're supposed to pick ideas you can use to develop your soul with in such an institution. (I am not bitter about my score of 2! No!)
Tortured psyches aside, something I really have grown to love aside from figures, faces, and feet is the use of color to make really pretty things:D Which is why I have a section devoted to files done in open canvas, a great program for exploring color:D
