Dry weather has to work harder to be interesting enough to shoot pictures of because we see it almost every day, unless you live in Seattle or monsoon land. I know there are more to go on this page, but for some reason they aren't uploaded. How weird.
This picture has a nice sense of leading into the future, the way the road and clouds lead to the same point.
On a normal day, you can see mountains behind my car when you look from this perspective. This morning I awoke to living on a floating cloud castle, high in the air.
You know it's not good when you are idly shopping for your college experience at the Dollar General, and you emerge from the store to find you are in a haze of orange light. This was one of the freakiest days of my life, the image doesn't properly convey one tenth of teh freakiness, none of the pictures I took did. It was seriously orange out, and then when I got the camera loaded with new batteries, the clouds or smoke or whatever shifted, and it was not orange like it was, just wimpy.
