On this day, I learned that my atelier class can be rather enjoyable, but only if the regular class is extra terrible. I had a pretty fun time writing little personal notes and learning words for doing the laundry
trier le linge = to separate coloreds and whites (I feel really weird typing coloreds. but that’s how it’s said x.x;;; surely I have read that word in a million civil war era novels, no?)

allumer = to start an electrical/digital device (tv, lights)
