On this day, I learned vanilla extract is made with alcohol. Apparently some guys that used to work at Con Agra would store industrial containers of the stuff in the back of the freezer to sip on while on shift.

Also Stu still has the ability to completely captivate and excite a trio of rowdy future-video game nerds.

On this day, I learned that Black Friday is kinda boring when you don’t want to buy electronics. It’s pretty good to sleep through though. I found out that Stu’s cell phone and my mom’s take the same usb slots!

And I learned that cleaning is invigorating!

On this day, I learned that the sound effects from Link to the Past are really bad about getting into your head. Really bad.

I also learned that a lot of people like carrot cake ^_^^_^^_^

On this day, I learned the word “ohrwurm” or “a song that gets stuck in your head”

I also learned that sonic’s friend miles/tails is incredibly adorable and goofy! so cute.

Also, Russellville rolls up the sidewalks even earlier on Thanksgiving Eve. Sonic was closed, McDonalds was closing, other sonic was closed, all before 11pm. I had to go to a gas station to get a slushie!

And I learned roasting corn in the shuck on a fire is good times.

On this day, I learned what the new shower we put into our big bathroom was like! Not too bad~

I learned that friction is almost boring it’s so easy. It’s like exactly how it was in high school physics <33 much luff.

I learned about “bear quotes” which are air quotes you do with your whole hand, as though you were a bear pawing at honey. *paws at “something”*

I think I might have accidentally learned something in materials, but I don’t remember it now :D

On this day, I learned that one of my friends is the EA representative for Arkansas. That’s kinda weird! Stu wants to mooch some games off her ;D (hi allie)

I learned that there was $5 more in my coat pocket than I thought there was. Hurray for finding money!

I also learned that you can find flux integrals by taking the double integral over a surface of the vector field dot the unit normal field!

the unit normal field can be found by taking the gradient and dividing by the magnitude of the gradient!

On this day, I learned that you can access a little preview thing in Finder by pressing spacebar in a Finder window! Crazy.

I also learned that KFC doesn’t provide a trashcan on their premises (unless you go inside).

On this day, I learned that finding a potential apartment on google maps is one thing, but finding it IRL is quite another. Also there are a lot more apts IRL that have For Lease signs than websites might have you think.

I learned that if you are very bored, even reading Twilight sounds like fun!

On this day I learned that you can make a makeshift bong/pipe by cutting the bottom off a bottle, securing a plastic bag around it, and attaching a handle of some sort of enable you to remove or replace the bag in or our of the bottle. Cut the top off and make a little cubby out of aluminum foil, cut holes in it, and voila!

I learned that there are several very large church complexes in Springdale. It’s hard to find the one you want the first time. . . And when you do get to the one you want, you find out that that guy from Cal last year is really good at ice skating (hi Lonnie)

On this day, I learned that you can draw another kind of phase diagram for alloys that do not have unlimited solubility. It’s crazy. You have places where three phases intersect, and there are like four different kinds: eutectic, peritectic, monotectic, eutectoid, and peritectoid. Okay, five kinds.

I learned that friction is basically how it was when I learned it two years ago in high school physics. Finally, something easy in Statics!
