On this day, I learned that I need to study more Linear Algebra, but that I am studying sufficient calculus. I learned that I can still play guitar hero pretty well and that clerks is a pretty funny movie. I might have learned something about applying the right hand rule in three-dimensional vectorspace, but perhaps I knew that already from physics.

I also learned some interesting gossip about someone who was in my class last semester and kinda verifies my theories about their character, and I also learned that Zona Mexicana is now “gone” and “Le Grande Rojo” is in its place, an almost exact duplicate. Whatever, univeridad.

On this day, I learned that my hair foams beautifully with the humongoid amount of water pressure in the showers. It’s very nice. I really appreciate that these showers are so much taller than the ones in pomfret were.

I also learned that I can spend up to $3132 a semester for off-campus housing! Score! That’s something like $630 a month! And there’s no limit on internet, possibly because they want fellows to have the best access to internet as possible and man I did speedtest last night and it definitely got up to 20mbps down/17mbps up. Nice.

I learned how to use crazy triangles in statics today. I mean, words do not describe them.

On this day, I learned that it’s kinda hard to ride a bicycle with a skirt even if it reaches to your knees almost! I also learned that I don’t a lot of the math in my statics homework ;.;

I learned that Brough has some pretty good food and it’s not crowded at all if you hit it the right time of dinner. And that I accidentally clicked a dragon egg when I didn’t mean to, so I have my first duplicate breed xD

On this day I learned that Hype Night at the HPER is an awesome event, even if they ran out of t-shirts that weren’t huge (i took a large and that was as small as they got by the time I was there). I put my e-mail on the contact list for volleyball, and I think that it would be a good thing for me to practice!

I learned that Statics is going to be a brutal bitch of a class, but Materials is going to be pretty engaging!

I also learned that I should peruse the entire offering of the cafeterias before I commit to one food or another; I grabbed some chicken when I first went in at lunch, then saw they had barbeque sandwiches, and I was so excited about those I forgot the honors college was holding a dinner picnic that evening with barbeque. I didn’t remember until I sat down :( And I had to wait so long for that sandwich that I don’t think remembering sooner would have changed my mind one jot. What chicken I did eat was pretty good.

I learned that I don’t want to go back to an oxygen bar anytime soon; it tickles my nose! It did feel pretty nice when I walked away lightheaded and relaxed though :D

Happy post 100, WILT!

On this day, I learned that Linear Algebra is confusing, but reading the book after lectures helps a lot.

I learned that CAD won’t be as scary as I thought it would, and that The Hill on the other side of campus is a wonderful bike ride away but not worth the wait. The bike ride really was wonderful though.

I also learned that spriters can be just as petty, posessive and jealous of their 80×80 GIF images as dollers. What makes you have to snap at someone because they tried to help you? I mean seriously, shouldn’t the desire for the best result overcome the individual greed for fame and recognition? Especially if I the other party doesn’t even ask for any?

That’s something I haven’t learned yet.

On this day, I learned that I apparently live in a tropical rain forest where one minute it’s sunny and the next it’s pouring.

I also learned that I do not have anywhere near 250 words of research plans and maybe I should start e-mailling people about that stuff.

I learned that Yocum’s not such a bad place to live; there’s more people I know living here or visiting people who live here than I thought and we had a pretty nice ice cream social tonight down in the first floor!

I reaffirmed that you should never have Chinese for dinner, only for lunch (cheaper), but the crab rangoon at J.D. China was simply heavenly. I haven’t had good crab rangoon in ages.

Has anyone seen my car keys?

On this day, I learned that the bike ride to the Union is positively delightful now. Holy crap funtime.
I learned that there is a student-organized version of The Mole that they plan on submitting to local access cable. I learned while learning about The Mole that the architecture building is hooooooly crap cool and also has the best smelling bathroom soap on campus (so far).

I also met stu’s cat’s nice twin, Étaín and learned a lot of things about my roommate that you woudn’t necessarily expect to learn in the first half hour of having met her in person!

On this day, I learned that trucks are just as loud as they were every morning down at Pomfret, although hopefully we won’t have too much of them (this morning was move in day).
I learned that my friend’s sister has the same initials as he does. I learned that tattoos generally have a minimum price per tat and that you can get pregnant by having unprotected buttsex! (the forces involved include Mr. “9.81″ G)
I learned that breakfast might be a good idea and that one of the girls who I was in France with is living next door to me. Wow. Small world?
I learned that the brown red gold spice commonly found in a shaker in tandem with cheese at pizzerias is oregano. And it’s spicy. oh my tongue.

I also learned a neat table trick that I would describe, but then I couldn’t surprise you with it in person. I’m not going to throw THAT away.

On this day, I learned that all the good stuff (free) at college happens on the days before REAL move in.
Ex. short lines at the parking transit office;
good food at the pomfreteria (we ate there for old times’ sake);
free movies at the AMC (watched tropic thunder which had plenty of LOL parts);
etc etc etc.

The only crappy thing is you can’t use your SUPER PARKING because the SUPER PARKING lots are closed for move in.

On this day, I learned that there are people who do what they call “channeling” a source of energy and knowledge called Hilarion.
That site hosts many long files, one of the more interesting of which (I think) is a man expounding on the benefits of some sort of noble gas therapy for regeneration.

I learned that my grandma doesn’t really understand the concept of a “tab” in window structure. She got an e-mail saying she needed to check a box, but she didn’t know what to do when it said to click a certain tab so I came down and did it for her xD
