This section is dedicated to pictures of things that my parents or I made, found, created, did etc. In other words, cool random pix 8)
My dad got a book of gourd instruments and decided to make one some day. He cut this one in half, gutted it and let it dry for a while, then glued a frontispiece on it and varnished and shellacked it. Then he affixed another piece of wood and several prongs off an old rake at different lengths, and when you stroke them they made tones.
The rake prongs were pretty stiff and not very condusive to playing, so it's mostly ornamental. We refer to it as a beetle for its shape xD
One of my parents found this in the garden and my mom drew the face on it. It was about all I could to keep them from making the logical anatomical progression outloud 8)
My dad's side had a family reunion back this summer, and stu and I decided to drop by after a date. There weren't many parking spots left, so I kinda improvised on this one, and when we realized the amazingness of the job, stu shot a picture with his phone camera.
With a box of chocolates, a can of fanta, and a cold enough freezer, you can make your own strawberry candy!
We have these glasses that hold exactly 12 ounces of liquid, and i love pouring them perfectly full.
Stu and I picked up these plastic glow in the dark skeletons from a Dollar Tree store and split them in half between our rooms. They looked really cool in the dark!
