Poetry
- "How to Fall Asleep"
- Believe it or not, I can be pretty cynical!
- "Junior High"
- One of the happiest times of my senior year of high school was in the spring semester, driving every day to the recently built junior high to spend time with a PE class I needed to graduate. Perhaps it was the change of scenery or the Arkansas springtime springing around me, or the adorable 7th or 8th or 9th graders (I dunno which xD), but I felt very happy there.
- "The Nobility of Youth"
- One of my deep fears is that one day I'll become apathetic to the plight of the world around me, and stuck in a greydrum life with no zeal or ambitions.
- "Snow"
- This is a really creepy poem that I wrote several years ago. I've always had an .html version of it in my stuff/ folder, but now that I have a writing section, I thought it belonged better here.
- "Spring"
- I think this was indirectly inspired by "A Blessing" by James Wright. We had to analyze that in pre-AP English, and I realized a lot about how I love springtime, and E.E. Cummings gave me the incentive to write.
